- Sparkling Acres Event Center
- "Sparkiling Acres Event Center" (formally Nechanitz Hall) This 11,000 square ft. venue is located 10 miles NE of La Grange on FM 2154. The hall itself was a general store many years ago. It was added on to and turned into a Dance Hall in 1996. It went through a couple of renovations over the years, but has sat vacant for the last 5 years. Over the years it has seen the likes of performers such as Freddie Fender, Johnnie Rodriguez, Johnny Dee and the Rocket 88's and rumor has it that even Willie Nelson stopped by and played one night. With a new name, we hope to start a new chapter in the life of this very nostalgic, and slightly historic venue. Our hope is to do the memory of the hall proud. The hall is open to weekly Dance events featuring live music. It is also available for Weddings, Receptions, Quinceneras, Special events & Parties.
