Before Pictures....What we walked into... at Nechanitz Saloon!

The lettering on the outside had definately seen its better days. Unfortunately, this was in better shape than what we had in store for us on the inside.

Not so bad... but looks are decieving!

These are the back doors in the store. This room will eventually be the bridal suite. These doors will be replaced and open up to a covered patio.

The room behind these swingings doors was used as a drive-thru. That room and the room the picture was taken from will be turned into a fully functional caters kitchen.

OMG!!!! No electricity...otherwise it would look even worse! The flags outline was what used as a make shift wrestling ring for the pro wrestling school that was the most recent inhabitant of the hall.

Standing in front of the bar, you can see the length of the building. (120 ft.) You also get to see the "very large" amount of stuff left over from the garage sale that had been held at one time. Fortunately it hides the even "larger amount" of stuff left by the cabinet maker, the previous inhabitant before the wrestling school. On the bright side, there are 2 of these picnic tables that are definately keepers.

Speaking of the picnic tables, here they are. Notice the picket fencing on the walls. It only goes through half of the building. Note: the building is 90' X 120'. The half that is not done equals alot of work to finish that second half.

Looks good on the outside. Hopefully it works. This is one of 7 coolers left in the building.

Its not in the best of condition, but it is definately a nice addition. (keeps the kids busy LOL) Hopefully the refurbishing cost is within reason.

This is a closer view of the make shift "wrestling ring". In the background is what "used" to be a shuffleboard table. Fairly serious water damage has taken its toll. Too bad, would've be a great addition.

The tile on the floor is actually the dance floor. Great idea, right up until it starts lifting and coming off the floor, like it is doing. One of the bright spots, the bar, is in the background. That and more "stuff"!!!!

2 seperate bathrooms inside. One had 3 stalls, this one had a surprise. Not really sure how sweaty dancing can make you, but I dont think it would constitute having to take a shower half way through the night. And yes, this is leaving!!!

I think that the white stenciling is a good touch. Coupled with the extra wood and pvc pipe on the top of the bathrooms, it makes for a very inviting atmosphere. (for a lumber yard- LOL)

There are 2 of these heaters mounted from the ceiling. If they work, they would definately be an advantage on those far and few between cold days. Need some paint and alot of love.

This is a view from what will be the caterers kitchen into what will be the bridal suite. A lot of work to do in here. We can see the finished product in our minds. Unfortunately, we can tranfer that to a picture. All in due time.

This is what actually seems to be the shining star of the place right now, the bar. We learned from one of the locals, that it was fashioned to resemble the front of the old store that was located across the street until it burned down. Probably our favorite part of the building right now. What a surprise, huh???? We will have some "in progress" pics as soon as we get them.
